Q:Where do you leave from?
A:We leave from the Somers Cove Marina Located in Crisfield, MD. See our directions page for specific address location.
Q: Is there transportation across the bay from the Western Shore?
A: No. There is no car ferry that crosses the Chesapeake Bay.
Q: Are you handicapped accessible?
A: Not completely, we can handle a manual wheelchair if the person is able to walk down the ramp. However extremely high tides can make this difficult.
Q:Are strollers allowed on the boat?
A: Yes!
Q: Can we bring our dog?
A: Yes, But only small dogs that are on a leash and can sit in your lap. No large dogs are allowed.
Q: Do we need a reservation?
A: Yes, reservations are required. For groups, call as soon as possible to check the availability on a particular cruise. For individuals, call anytime, even the morning of the cruise you want to make your reservation on.
Q: Do you offer group rates and how many people constitute a group?
A: Yes. But only if you have 15 or more people in your group.
Q: Do we receive any complimentary tickets for our group?
A: Yes. A group with 30 paying passengers will receive 1 complimentary ticket, and a group of 40 paying passengers will receive 2 complimentary tickets.
Q: Is there food on the boat?
A: No. There is only sodas and water. But there are places to eat on the island once you arrive.
Q: Can we buy a Smith Island cake to take home?
A: Yes! The Bayside Inn Carryout sells whole cakes and slices to go.
Q: Is there an ATM machine on the Island?
A: No, Not at this time.

A: Yes, Visa & Mastercard

A: Yes. There are rental properties and B&B's on the island.

A: Yes, Our boats have seating outside on both levels to allow you to get the most out of your trip. Our boats also have seating on both levels.

A: The trip itself is approximately 45 minutes long.

A: The trip itself is approximately 1 Hour and 30 Minutes long.

A: Returning to Crisfield: Approximately 2 Hours and 30 Minutes. Returning to Point Lookout: Aproximately 2 Hours.
